Steps to Join Esports Ohio

The following steps are required for high school and middle school teams to participate in the upcoming season. These steps must be completed prior to the season to be eligible to participate in the upcoming season. Please note, some steps are only required for high school and are noted in red throughout the steps below.

Before beginning, review the required registration steps below to ensure your team is eligible to participate.

Step 1

Complete Esports Ohio School Membership Application

Pt 1: Download Application

Required yearly by new and returning teams.

Application submission for the 2026–2027 season will open soon. Complete the application now and retain a copy until the new submission process is available.

Step 2

Complete Esports Ohio Coaching Certification Course

Coach certification materials are being updated for the 2026–2027 season and will be available soon.

Step 3

Register Your Teams and Players for Competition

Team and player registration instructions are being updated for the 2026–2027 season and will be available soon.

Step 4

Submit Coaches Acknowledgement (High School Only)

The 2026–2027 coach update presentation and acknowledgement form are being developed and will be available soon.

Step 5

Pay $150 Yearly Membership Fee

Payment Information

*High School Sponsored Season Only (Middle School Season and Mini Season do not pay this fee).

The cost to play is $150 per high school ($155 if paid Online). W9 and payment
information can be found here.
