Matt Hirschfelt - President

Matt Hirschfelt serves as President of Esports Ohio, where he leads the organization’s strategic direction, league operations, and statewide championship initiatives. He has coached esports at Akron NIHF STEM High School since 2021, giving him firsthand experience with the opportunities and challenges facing school esports programs. Matt has played a key role in expanding competitive opportunities for Ohio students, strengthening partnerships with schools and universities, and improving the league’s tournament and operational systems. Outside of Esports Ohio, he works in business administration, finance, and organizational leadership.

Jake Molyet - Vice President, High school operations

Jake Molyet serves as Vice President of High School Operations for Esports Ohio. A native of Old Fort, Ohio, he earned a Bachelor of Information Technology and Security from Baker College. Jake has been an esports enthusiast since discovering League of Legends in 2016 and enjoys following Cloud9. He also plays a variety of console and mobile games. Outside of esports, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and golfing on the weekends.

Chris McClellan - vice president, middle school operations

Chris McClellan serves as Vice President of Middle School Operations for Esports Ohio. He has coached esports at East Canton and helped establish and lead Esports Ohio’s Middle School Division. With over 15 years of experience in education, Chris understands the challenges schools face when building and preparing an esports program. He is passionate about guiding coaches through each step of the process and helping programs succeed. Outside of esports and education, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

kevin koncsol - Vice President, tournament operations

Kevin Koncsol serves as Vice President of Tournament Operations for Esports Ohio. He founded the esports program at Warren G. Harding High School and brings experience in both scholastic esports and technology. Kevin works as an information technology specialist for Warren City Schools and is an avid gamer. He is passionate about creating well-organized, competitive experiences for students across Ohio.

Jessie Dorman- Treasurer

Jessie Dorman serves as Treasurer for Esports Ohio. She is an experienced science educator who earned a degree in Microbiology from Penn State University. Before entering education, Jessie worked in biodefense at Battelle in West Jefferson, Ohio. A lifelong gamer, she has enjoyed video games across generations of consoles, beginning with the Atari. Jessie also supports the Virtual Eagles, New Albany’s esports program, and enjoys gaming with her family. She values esports as a way to connect with students, build community, and create an engaging environment for participants.

Jared Craigo - board member at large

Jared Craigo serves as an At-Large Member of the Esports Ohio Board of Directors. A lifelong gamer and experienced content creator, he brings skills in communication, writing, media production, graphic design, and video editing to the organization. Jared earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Cleveland State University and first became involved with Esports Ohio as a content creation intern before joining the Board of Directors. He has also provided play-by-play commentary for Oberlin High School’s League of Legends team. Jared is passionate about expanding the reach of scholastic esports and supporting the continued growth of Esports Ohio.

Adam Samuels - board member at large

Adam Samuels serves as a Board Member at Large for Esports Ohio. He is an experienced educator and technology specialist with a background in instructional technology, graphic design, marketing, and organizational development. Adam holds degrees in education and educational technology from Indiana University and Miami University. Since joining the Board, he has supported improvements to Esports Ohio’s website, graphics, and registration processes.
